Singapore Math^® Curriculum

KinderQ™ incorporates the highly-acclaimed Singapore Math™ curriculum that teaches children math in the same manner it is taught in Singapore, a country whose students consistently rank at the top in international math achievement. It is a mastery-based curriculum that ensures children learn the essential skills and concepts for all their future math learning success.

Singapore Math® teaches children how to think mathematically rather than simply memorize facts or complete drills. It utilizes a unique, three-step teaching approach that enables children to encounter math in meaningful, real world ways through concrete activities before progressing to pictorial and abstract representations. This allows children to develop a deep conceptual understanding of all concepts and skills. 

The active, hands-on lessons are carefully sequenced in a spiral progression in order for children to consolidate and master each skill and concept before new ones are taught. This allows for a strong math foundation to be created upon which increasingly complex skills can be successfully built. The curriculum also addresses math learning from a number of different directions in order to challenge children and help them develop important problem-solving skills.
